Acai, Yerba Mate, & Cupuacu featured together in a special report on NBC's Today Show.

It's easy for any company to extol the health benefits of the ingredients in its product... Yet, how often is it that you see a reputable-independent third party praise those same benefits?

We believe (and think you'll agree) that it's far more credible when a product's health benefits are praised by someone who has no association with a particular company or product. Such was the case recently for Acai, Yerba Mate, & Cupuacu - The 3 little known superfoods included in every bottle of Fruta Vida.

On the November 25th 2007 segment of NBC's Today Show, Today Show host, Meredith Vieira, spoke with The Travel Channel's Andrew Zimmerman about five life-changing foods that many people in North America have never heard of, or knew were healthy for them.

These five foods were: Alligator or crocodile meat, Laver, Acai, Yerba Mate, & Cupuacu. Yes, you read it correctly. Three of these 5 little known foods just happened to be - Acai, Yerba Mate, & Cupuacu, and... You get all three of them in a single bottle of great tasting, Fruta VidaTM.

Coincidence? We simply see it as more validation of what many Fruta Vida International customers have known about the health benefits of Acai, Yerba Mate, & Cupuacu for years now.

Please watch the Today Show segment with Meredith & Mr. Zimmerman by clicking the five life-changing foods link directly below. When the new page opens, the Today Show segment will begin playing shortly in the video screen to the right of the page. We think you'll be both fascinated and intrigued by what you see.

*Keep in mind, our product, Fruta VidaTM, was on the market nearly 3 years before this Today Show segment was produced. That should give you an idea about the amount of research that went into developing Fruta VidaTM more than 3 years ago, when practically no one in North America had heard of any of these 3 superfoods.

Rio de Janeiro is the city that worships health and beauty and where the healthy and the beautiful drink acai. Acai is more of a lifestyle option than a foodstuff; a magic fruit potion that fuels the hedonistic energy of Brazilian beach life.

Shortly after I moved to Rio, I was told about the acai berry's amazing nutritional properties: Brazilians believe it gives you strength, energy, and is great for sex. Discover the amazing health benefits of the fruit from the Amazon's "tree of life." July 2003 by Judy Douglas

There's got to be a better way to get these valuable nutrients than guzzling wine and drowning in oil. As it turns out, there is. I learned about it from HSI panelist Jon Barron. He told me about a single superfood from the Amazon that, fresh from the tree, can provide over 30 times the amount of anthocyanins as red wine and all the beneficial fatty acids of olive oil in one delicious, all-natural package. And this is just the beginning of this food’s health benefits. It's virtually impossible to over-do this food - which is certainly not the case with red wine or olive oil. Get the healing power of many phytonutrients in one delicious package.
